Tvetcov moves into yellow after stage 3 win at Tour of Korea

After finishing 3rd on stage 1, Serghei Tvetcov had a taste for the yellow jersey he couldn’t shake. Stage 3 provided a perfect venue to take the overall lead and grab a stage win when he solo’d away from after attacking on the final climb of the day.

“To be in yellow and win the race today feels very good. I couldn’t have done this without my team of course and all thanks goes to them. I’m confident we have more great days ahead at Tour of Korea,” said Tvetcov after the stage 3 celebrations.

The plan today was “going for yellow.” So we made the race hard in the 40 km before the climb to give Serghei Tvetcov the opportunity to attack on the last climb. The boys did a great job in covering lots of moves and closing the gap on a four man break.
